Graceful shutdown of MSA1500 and disc arrays
Is there a way to gracefully shut down an MSA1500CS and its attached discs in the event of a power failure?
The Clustered Gateway is connected to my UPS and can be shutdown remotely. I imgaine there should be some way to issues a shutdown command to the MSA via a script.
Thanks

Re: Graceful shutdown of MSA1500 and disc arrays
I can't tell for the very latest firmware, but for years the MSA did not know what a proper shutdown was and the latest CLI guide from May 2006 does not contain the string "shutdown" either, sigh.
