HP 4/8 Brocade SAN Switch licences lost after upgrade`
I have an A8000A HP 4/8 SAN Switch and have upgraded to the latest Firmware from 5.3 > 6.0 > 6.1
When this happens the Switch retains its Fabric license but loses its Zone and Web License – is this a known issue when following this upgrade path?
Please help!!

Re: HP 4/8 Brocade SAN Switch licences lost after upgrade`
Hi Chris,
I had same issue last week and logged a call with support. It turns out that it is a know issue and not really a bug!
From v6.0 Zoing and Fabric licnese is default on all switches and will no loner show under licensing. I upgraded the same as you did from 5.3 - 6.0.1 - 6.1.0 and now under licsensing I get "unknown".
If you have lost your "Zoning" option in the left colunm then delete the old Java applets for EZMANAGER in control panel. Log back into switch and you will have your zoning option back again.
