HP AE311A HBA doesnt recognize HDS USP storage

Installing HP DL360 G5 server with a pair of AE311A HBA's for SAN atttachment via Brocade Silkworm switches. Server fails to recognize storage LUN on Hitachi Universal Storage Platform. Another server with a QLogic QLE2460 HBA can see the LUN.

We replaced HBA's with unit's selected from the Hitachi Data Systems supported HBA matrix.
