HP MSA1000 SAN Disks can not be accessible after migrating from Win. NT to W2K

Hi,

We have a Compaq Proliant DL580 Server attached to a MSA1000 storage unit via fiber channels. It was running with Windows NT operating system without any problem. We've decided to upgrade the operating system to Windows 2000 server (with SP 4). After the migration, we can see the drives through "Device Manager" of W2K, and also through the HP Array utility program. But we can not see them through "Disk Manager" - which means we can't see or access them as logical drives also. We've made an extensive search through forum pages and other web resources. Found some similar cases and followed their advices (installing various drivers, re-installing SecurePath, etc.) but none of them helped us. I'm pretty sure that we're doing something wrong. If anybody has any idea I'd be very glad.

Thanks in advance,

Yucel

Did you run de W2k Support Pack?
It can be due to a driver problem.
