HP SAN 8/8 Windows Firmware CRC Error

I have downloaded some firmware files for the switch (v6.3.2d.zip, v6.4.2a.zip, v6.4.3f3.zip)

No file can be extracted without crc error. I tried the download several times (with download manager) but the archives always contain errors.

Any advice?

Are there checksums on these files that you can compare?

What site did you download them?

The downloads i got from this site:

There are some md5 files in the list. I verified the checksum for 6.4.3f3.zip (no MD5 found for the other downloaded files) and it's damaged.

At the moment i try the download again with only one segment...

I have got problems with HP downloads for years.

It's the only big vendor i know where i cannot download files with browser because it always aborts....

At the moment the download status shows 4KB/s with a 50Mb/s line!

The download with one segment didn't work. Archive is damaged too.

A colleague of mine could download the files without error at home.

Problem solved.
