HP SSCM (Simple San Connection Manager) install issue on W2K8SVR

Can´t install the software. Is only getting the startmenu on DVD but the sofware wont start installing.

Trying to install the software on a new HP DL380G6 (managementserver) connected to HP Simple San Connection kit with HP 8/20q FC Switch.

Tested W2K8SVR R2 - Software does not start install.
Tested W2k8SVR R1 - Software does not start install.

Qlogic says it will work on W2K8

Please advise...

I have the same problems. Is there a new version of HP SSCM supporting W2K8R2 SRV available?

The installation of SSCM on Windows 2008 SRV requires that "setup.exe" is explicitly started "as administrator" otherwise the setup will fail!

However after successful installation, the program runs well for a while, but then sscm looses connection to the storage subsystem (i.e. MSA2000G2) und there is no hint how to regain access!

Any ideas, where this problem come from?
