HP StorageWorks 8/40 SAN Switch

I'm currently configuring the above mentioned switch, the deliverd SFPs are of the type HP 4G SW SFP, the docomentation mentioned that i need receivers from the B-Series FC SFP. Are these the same, cause when connecting the devices to the switch the devices are not found, the status line stays orange blinking?

It sounds like that particular type of SFPs is not recognized by the switch. The quickspec lists the partnumber AJ715A for the 4Gig Transceiver.

Can you login to the switch, run a "switchshow" and "sfpshow", put the output in a .TXT file and attach it to a response, please?

The needed SFP have part number AJ715A, the deliverd ones have part number A7446B, so they won't work in the device.

The 'switchshow' shows 'Mod_Inv' which translates to "Invalid module".
