Hello,
I installed an HP FC2242SR 4GB PCI-e DC HBA (A8003A) in a HP xw8600 workstation, but the workstation reboots itself continuously after all the BIOS messages are displayed at power on. However the HBA is detected and I'm even able to get into the BIOS settings for the HBA. I even tried fiddling with the settings (disabling the BIOS, changing speeds, etc).
If I remove the HBA, the workstation boots properly. I put the HBA back in, the workstation reboots again in a loop, always after the messages from the HBA (Press Control-E or Alt-E...)
I've upgraded the workstation's BIOS version to 1.35 but that didn't solve the problem.
I have another HP xw8600 workstation that works correctly with an HBA, but it's a QLogic PCI-X HBA.
Is there something I can do to make this HBA work with this workstation?
Thanks! :smileywink:
