Hi all,
I am starting to play with "HPE Storage Integration Pack for VMware vCenter 10.1" and started to add a couple of our on-prem storagy arrays.
I did have no issues with 3PAR nodes (7400 and 8450) and also I did have no issues adding a MSA2050 but ran into a problem while adding a MSA2040.
It was showing me a certificate warning as I connect to the MSA2040 but once I accepted it it ended the Add action with following error:
Unable to connect to the storage system.
Unable to connect to storage system <name of our MSA2040>. Verify that the correct credentials are used and check the connectivity between the appliance and storage system.
I was discovering documentation from SIP4VC but was not able find any references, that the MSA2040 is not supported.
Any suggestions what is the reason?
Nico

SolutionI am able to answer my question by myself, as I was founding the information in the related HPE SPOCK document. Saying, MSA2040 or earlier are NOT supported by SIP4VC. And I am sure, this will never happen.
