Hi, I have taken over the admin of a HSG80, I know nothing about the history of it, we appear to have one controller and one cache module, but have two ECBs installed, i have checked the documentation that we have and it appears that we have ECBs install but one is in the bay for the secound cache module that we dont have installed, I would like to confirm how to replace the ECBs with out taking the system down, any risks invloved in doing so and if Im correct about the ECB being in the wrong place.
Thanks for any help that you may be able to give.

Sounds like you have a modular array (you have, if no external cable goes to the ECB), but to make sure I suggest you take a look into the documentation to confirm, because the replacement procedures are different.
