How to Reset a MSA2000 (AJ750A)

Hi,

I need to reset three MSA2000(AJ750A) to default settings. How do i go about doing this?

If you log in via telnet to your MSA controllers (user manage, password !manage ), you can run the command "restore defaults" -- but note that it has the caution,
"Note: This command should only be used by service technicians, or with the advice of a service technician" -- so you might want to consider why you want to run this and consult with HP before you do.

Hi,

Please also note that you need to reboot both controllers for reset to take affect.
Also, this does NOT delete the Vdisks but only the user config such as mapping, WWN nicknames, IP and so on.
