How to add new hard disks for current installed and running MSA2050

We have MSA2050 is running with two volumes of disk groups, A and B , and we need to add the third group ( 5x 1.2 TB hard disks ) online without shutdown the system, so please we need to know the right steps to do this configuration and keep on the existing configuration and the current data integrity.

@Tarek-Soliman

You can follow below process,

>> Just physically insert all new 5 drives in the MSA anywhere. It doesn't matter location of the drives.
>> Check from CLI and GUI if drives are properly detected by Controllers or not.
>> After that go for new VDG(Virtual Disk Group) creation with those new 5 drives.
>> As we don't know how is your existing configuration so it's up to you how you want to add them with your existing configuration.
>> If we assume you have two VDG(Virtual Disk Group) for two respective Pools A & B and you have created two volumes out of these two Pools then new VDG you can add to Pool A or Pool B. It depends upon your business requirement.

Please keep in mind that new VDG will increase respective Pool physical size only. Volume size will not automatically increase.
No need to shutdown MSA or stop operation. All can be done online.

Hope this helps!
