Re: ISL Problems with CPQ SAN Switch 16 and Brocade 3200

This means that the fabric parameters of the two switches do not match. You can verify this by doing the following: Open a telnet session to each switch, and run the following command:

configShow "fabric.ops"

Compare the values for each of the entries - all of them must be the same on both switches. To correct any that are wrong, you must disable the switch (switchDisable), then run the "configure" command to modify the values. When you are done, re-enable the switch (switchEnable), and the fabric should merge successfully.

Re: ISL Problems with CPQ SAN Switch 16 and Brocade 3200

Hi,

I am facing the same problem of segmentation. As per suggestions I did see that the two switches have same configuration parameters. But to make the other subordinate I tried steps told by you and did not understand what I need to change so that it becomes subordinate switch and not principal.
