Interconeccion between P2000 G3 SAS and Proliant DL380 GEN 10

I'm triying to interconect storage P2000 and Proliant DL380 gen10, in doccumentation I found "HPE Smart Array P408e-pSR Gen10 Controller" with part number 804405-B21, in the especifications of the 804405-B21 don't explain the compatibility.

Can someone help me with info about the compability between these two devices?

Re: Interconeccion between P2000 G3 SAS and Proliant DL380 GEN 10

P408e-pSR Gen10 SAS Controller are compatible with Proliant DL380 gen10, no doubt.  MSA 4th generation (1040/2040) does support Gen10 server hardware.

However, The SAS HBAs that are tested and compatible that can be configured with StorageWorks P2000 G3 MSA SAS Controller with the latest firmware TS252P001, works with Proliant Gen9 Server Hardware only.

The most common once are H221 Host Bus Adapter or H241 Smart Host Bus Adapter, and these SAS HBAs are supported with Proliant Gen9 Server Hardware.

For your understanding, I have included links for both HBAs that lists supported ProLiant Servers.

Compatibility must be confirmed at http://www.hp.com/storage/spock

Below includes a list of supported operating systems ( not to be missed)

Hope this explains well.
