Is keeping initiators & targets on different "quads" still relevant?

I know the HP Best Practice documentation has had the same statement in it for years, but I've also read elsewhere that it isn't relevant any more due to performance increases etc. so, how important is it on a b-series switch these days? (8/24)

Hi

In the past each quad used to share bandwidth but as far as I know for brocade switches this is not an issue any more and each port can use the full bandwidth
