Lost all passwords to msa SAN swtich 2/8

Please can you tell me how to gain access to a Storageworks MSA SAN switch 2/8 ?

All passwords have been lost. I have tried the published root p/w fivranne but this doesn't work. I have heard that special firmware is required to do this. If so, how do I obtain it? I can't find any UK telephone numbers for HP support.

Grateful for all and any guidance!

root default password is "fibranne" and no "fivranne"

the MSA SAN 2/8 switch is a Genuine embedded Brocade 3000 Switch

if the default root password was changed and is lost, you need a special string code from HP wich can only be generate by Brocade.

You can find more details at http://community.brocade.com/home/index.jspa

There is a Brocade password reset tool that sometimes does it... You need another FOS 3.x that you can login too, isl it onto the one that you want to reset then run the tool... Has worked for me sometimes...
