MPIO and SecurePath
I am deploying an EVA 8000. I will have mostly HP-UX servers and a couple of Windows servers on the fabric. From what I understand, the Windows servers will use MPIO and the UNIX servers will use HP-UX. I've been told there is a registry key that needs to be altered on the WIndows side for the installation of MPIO. Has anyone encountered any special issues having both SecurePath and MPIO and is there anyting I should look out for?

Re: MPIO and SecurePath
I did the following test successfully:
Windows 2003 Server, SP1
MPIO v1.00.02
SecurePath 4.0C-SP2-1
All were functioning on the same server without any issues.
Test was done to simulate moving from an EVA5000 to EVA8000
Windows 2003 Server, SP1
MPIO v1.00.02
SecurePath 4.0C-SP2-1

Re: MPIO and SecurePath
It is common practice to use various OSes with different mltipathing options on the very same EVA. It is actually one of the beautiful things of the EVA.
For Windows MPIO specific topics I recommend reading the attached guide.
For multi-OS connectivity and supported&recommended HP SAN configurations etc. I recommend browsing the "HP SAN Design Reference Guide" which is updated regularly and can be found here:
