MSA 1000 - view bus info
We have an MSA 1000 and we can access certain information about it via HP system management homepage. In particular, section "Storage system" shows the following:
Internal Storage System Bus 1
Vendor: COMPAQ Temperature Status: OK
Model: PROLIANT 4L7I DB Fan Status: OK
Serial Number: SGM0703ARN Power Supply Status: OK
Firmware Revision: 1.86 Speed: Ultra3
Board Revision: 0 Drive Bays: 7
Version: 4 Duplex Option: Duplex Bottom
Placement: Internal
Internal Storage System Bus 2
Vendor: COMPAQ Board Revision: 0
Model: PROLIANT 4L7I DT Version: 4
Serial Number: SGM0703ARN Speed: Ultra3
Firmware Revision: 1.86 Drive Bays: 7
Placement: Internal Duplex Option: Duplex Top
So, the section "Bus 1" says that temparature and fan status are OK, while there is no such info about Bus 2. My question is : is everything ok with bus 2 or something is wrong?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Andrey

Re: MSA 1000 - view bus info
Yan,
See an attached screenshot. Note that MSA 1000 shows up as a storage subsystem for a server it is attached to.
