MSA 1500 and MSA 20 shelf failure during failed disk rebuild

Has naybody experienced this problem.

Dual controller MSA 1500 firmware v 7.0 attached to 8 MSA 20 enclosures configured with 10 RAID 5 Arrays with a dedicated 1x spare per shelf.

Problem is when disk fails, rebuild using spare starts, but after aprox 3 hours it fails whole shelf where affected disk resides.
I would put it down to MSA not able to carry on rebuild during heavy I/O load.


I have attached CLI capture report after failure attached.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I think I've just had the same thing happen. How did you get your shelf back online?
