MSA 2012i generate logs and other issues
I have two MSA 2012i with dual controllers. I have to generate logs on one of them and its taking ages 30min+ and I think it will not finish. I've had this issue before also. Anyone experienced this problem? Can you run from command line?
Another issue is sometimes clicking on a link kicks you out of the console. You can log back in and it will be on the page you should have went to, eventually if it happens a few times in a row it will tell you that you are already logged in. I've restarted the management controllers for this in the past but it doesn't make much difference. Very hard to navigate or get anything done with the system this way.
Thanks in advance

Re: MSA 2012i generate logs and other issues
Tried firmware upgrade?
Isn't the logs taken from the SMU just a collection of the outputs from many CLI commands?

Re: MSA 2012i generate logs and other issues
Updated firmware last month. stil the same.
Got the files out this morning on a retry.
I must check the CLI reference guide for the commands.
