MSA 2040 Reliability
Hello,
We have purchased a MSA2040 SAN with 4x 16Gbps FC and 4x HP SN1000Q 16GB HBAs to be integrated in 2 servers (2 HBAs each).
It is evident that the new Thin Provisioning feature is very interesting and allows better management. Anyway it is a relatively new technology and I am wondering if it is as reliable as linear disks.
Can you please report your experiences with the This Provisioning feature? Please let me know if you are satisfied or if your have encountered some problem.
thanks
PS: We are on vSphere 5.5 HP Custom ISO
