MSA 2040 SAS Replacement Suspicious
recently i have to replace sas of mas2040, now the status is green but the sas light is off (not green not amber).is that allright ?

Hello,
It is unclear whether you mean the controller LED or the SAS host port LED.
For the SAS host port be sure the cable is seated firmly. You may need to inspect this closely as sometimes the cable is mostly inserted but is not all the way pushed in and fully connected.

no, i have to change my question , i have no disk spares or global spares . and i changed the failure disk with the new one , but now the hard disk led is off and not join the disk group
