MSA 2040 iSCSI 10gb speed option
I've recently setup a MSA 2040 with 10gb iSCSI connection but in the SMU the host port speed option only have auto or 1gb. Is this normal?

Re: MSA 2040 iSCSI 10gb speed option
Are you using DAC cables, or the LC optical transceiver, to connect the MSA to your switch? If you are using the RJ45 SFP's then they only support 1GB.

Re: MSA 2040 iSCSI 10gb speed option
Hello,
So, no, this is not expected behavior. It sounds like your ports are connecting at 1GB. What speed do they show on your network switch when you look at the port status? What speed does it say in the SMU when you hover over the port icons?
I will send you a private message with link to an FTP site. Please upload a complete log collection by following instructions at

Re: MSA 2040 iSCSI 10gb speed option
Hi,
What speed does it say in the SMU when you hover over the port icons? On the port icon the speed displayed as 10gb. When go to advance tab, the speed option only have auto or 1gb.
I read back the guide MSA 1040/2040 SMU reference guide for firmware release G220
https://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c04220794
Says the link speed option 1gb setting does not apply to 10gb HBAs.
