Hi Gokhan,

may I know what you mean by CSV ?

Is the serever directly connected to teh MSA or connected via SAN Switch?

What is the FC HBA firmware and driver version ? is that latest?

How many servers are connected with the MSA? is this issue specific  to any particular host or volume?

Is this a new setup? was this working fine earlier?

Regards,

Venkat.

@gokhan34

As per my understanding your query actually related to File system level and not block level that's why it's not related to MSA.

I don't know what kind of data that you are copying and comparing. Any comparison works if you do the same thing in two different applications.

In your situation, copying data to CSV files means data getting copied as comma seperated values and that could be cell based data copy as well so may be that is taking time compare to normal text file data copy. You should check with your Operating System expert.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I think you mean Microsoft Cluster Shared Volume.

Maybe the Copy Job go not direct to the Storage, it can go by 1GB LAN to a Second Node and then to the Storage.

Something like this.

I don't believe this is a Storage Issue, take look at the OS (Cluster).
