MSA 2060 not detected by Storefabric sn6010c
Hi everyone,
I am doing an installation, connecting msa 2060 and DL380 Gen10 to the hpe storefabric sn6010c.
The servers are detected but the storage is not detected. Is it something particular to do for this configuration?
Can you help please?

Re: MSA 2060 not detected by Storefabric sn6010c
Hi
MSA can work in two modes fabric or ISCSI first check if the ports are defined as fibre channel
and also check the GBICs you recieved.
also check if the switch ports are enabled and they are on auto or the correct speed.
Regards
Give a KUDO if this helps

Re: MSA 2060 not detected by Storefabric sn6010c
Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I have notice that on the MDS 9148s, the ports on which the msa was configured were using HPE SPF instead off cisco SFP. so after changing the SFP, the MSA was discovered.
Now the problem is that when I finished creating the zoning, the servers cannot ve discovered by the MSA 2060.
I have tried all possible configuration but any success.
Can you help please?

Hi
don't maually create your host in the MSA
create your zones and let the MSA see the hosts WWN if it does your OK
if not you have a problem with your zone

Re: MSA 2060 not detected by Storefabric sn6010c
Thanks for your reply.
When I used the default vsan 1 and default zone on the Cisco MDS, the servers and the storage are communicating easily. But when I create a new vsan and new zone and new zoneset and activate it, then no communication between them.
That is my problem. Any advice.
Thanks
