MSA-500-G2 connected to 64-bit/133MHz Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA and Win2k
I am being asked to connect 64-bit/133MHz Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA to an MSA-500-G2.
The drivers for the adapter load and no problem appears at that point. However, MSA-500-G2 appears in device manager under the "other devices" heading. No driver appears to exist for the device and I cannot see any drives on the MSA.
Is this a legitimate (supported) configuration?

Re: MSA-500-G2 connected to 64-bit/133MHz Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA and Win2k
Hi,
it's not a supported config. The MSA500 G2 must be attached to a Smart Array 642. Normal SCSI Adapters are not supported.
