MSA cant expand volume

Hi,

We have an MSA 2312i. We have a single Vdisk at present with a single volume. The capacity of the Vdisk is 2TB, but the volume is only 1.8TB, leaving 200GB free. I go to click on "expand volume" but it is greyed out.

Any ideas?

Only thing I can add is that there used to be a 2nd volume (200GB) on that same vdisk which we deleted. Is there some sort of delay in the space becoming available?
There is also no snapshot scheduled.

Thanks in advance!

Did you get this sorted out? We are having the same problem

Re: MSA cant expand volume

Yep got this sorted. The issue was that the volume was set to a master volume. It needed to be changed to a standard volume with this command: convert master-to-std volume
You can do this live without affecting any data etc.
