MSA1000 + MSL6000 Tape Lib

We have a new SAN using the MSA1000 and MSL6000 tape lib. What is the best way to backup the data? Is there any way to backup the disk array directly to tape. What is the best software to use and manage our backups

Please describe the data path you are interested in.

Do you want data to directly from luns over to the tape drive (thus raw), or is a lun-fiber-server then server-fiber-tape satisfactory?
