MSA1000 SNMP
I'm new to the SAN arena and am trying to see how I setup SNMP on my MSA1000 so "What's Up Gold" can proactively monitor the health of my Compaq MSA1000 SAN and SAN Switch 2/16 EL. Can anyone point me in the direction I need to go in order to do this?

Re: MSA1000 SNMP
The MSA does not send SNMP traps. For windows hosts the event logs will recieve and handle errors. If you have a System Insight Manager server, it will report to that. As for the switches, you can setup snmp traps to be sent to a sysfile or other snmp capable tool.
