MSA1000 Switch 2/8 + Switch 6
Do you know if is posible to have working two switches 2/8 (308999-001) and 6 (218681-001) in the same MSA1000?

I would say this is not a good idea. You will have compatibiliy issues sooner or later. If may not be supported by HP if you do have problems.

The problem is if you have a switch 6 and you need another switch. Buy two switch 2/8 is expensive than buy only one.

Re: MSA1000 Switch 2/8 + Switch 6
a.) Check with HP to see how you can get another switch 6 from them, a refurbished one. They probably still have them to support existing customers production sites. b.) Complain to them about having to buy 2 new 2-8 switches and the costs. Maybe they will buy back your sw 6 or discount the sw 8's in your case. Bargain with them.
