MSA1000 does not support MSA20?

Trying to find compatibility guide for MSA1000. Does it support MSA20 or not?

Re: MSA1000 does not support MSA20?

The short answer is No.
MSA1000's are for SCSI drives.
The MSA1510i controller knows how to play with SATA.
See page 314 of the June 2008 San Design Guide.

Thanks for answers. And If I buy fiber hub will I be able to use MSA1000 with MSA20?

Re: MSA1000 does not support MSA20?

MSA20 is SATA enclosure, compatible with MSA1500
MSA30 is SCSI enclosure, compatible with MSA1000 and MSA1500

Please check MSA20 quickspecs:

Re: MSA1000 does not support MSA20?

I understand that. But I'm asking if I connect MSA20 to MDR to Fiber Hub to MSA1000 will they work together?
Thanks!
