Hello,
my customer has exactly the problem described on the following post (on windows environment only):
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=900130
The problem is that he has some DELL servers connected to the MSA, and ACU is not installable on that servers, because there aren't SmartArray controllers on them.
Is there any other way (via MSA CLI, etc.) to solve the problem ?
thanks in advance
kind regards Davide

Solution
Hi Davide!
There are a lot of ways to configure MSA disk presentation. The first way is configure via COM-port cable included in standard. Use HyperTerminal or other programm
CLI> HELP ADD ACL
├в add acl connection=name/wwpn=xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx unit=#├в
adds access rights for one connection to one or all
units.
CLI>
The second way is to boot from any Proliant server with FC HBA using SmartStart and there is ACU GUI. If your zoning configuration contain both server and MSA you will can configure it.
