MSA1500 Power off during a disk expand. Now can't access drive while Parity ?

I haven't seen that one before.

 

Internet says it could take between quickly to many hours..

 

As it appears to be the metadata it needs to update/recreate, then the time it would take would depend on the amount of files you have on the drives. Some forum threads indicate that the chkdisk can handle it.

In a way I guess it's nice that the server appears to detect the drive.
