MSA1500 Server 2008 R2 SP1 ACU crashes
I’m running Server 2008 R2 SP1 & HP Array Configuration Utility 8.75.12.0 on two separate servers to manage a MSA1500 SAN. When using the ACU to manage the MSA1500, the ACU crashes. Both MSA1500 are running in Active/Active mode. One MSA is running the latest firmware available and the other MSA is running firmware that is one version behind.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?

Re: MSA1500 Server 2008 R2 SP1 ACU crashes
I have the same issue. I had just upgraded the ACU software to 8.75.12 and this started. I reverted to the previous version of 8.70.9 and things operate normally again.

Re: MSA1500 Server 2008 R2 SP1 ACU crashes
This worked for me, with an MSA 1000. Downgraded from ACU v 9.0.24.0

Re: MSA1500 Server 2008 R2 SP1 ACU crashes
I use ACU 9.40.12.0 32-bit (!) on 64-bit 2008 R2. Seems it works. Filename for this version is cp018120.exe.
Attention!!! Do NOT install using this exe directly - setup will fail (saying thayt the system is unsupported)! You need to extract files from exe and then install extracted msi file.
