MSA1500 host installation
THis is using FW 6.8.6 and Win2003 hosts with Qlogic HBAs
Configured the host drivers with MSA CD 7.5.7.
From the OS i can see and format the MSA logical drive, however I cannot see the MSA1500 in the ACU to add more luns. I find 2 entries in DevMgr | ? Other devices | showing ?? COMPAQ MSA CONTROLLER SCSI Array Device.
What are these and what will remove the question Mark?

Re: MSA1500 host installation
Did you ever solved this problem?
I'm experiencing the same issue.

Re: MSA1500 host installation
If you're using Proliant servers, this may help. I had the exact same problem and fixed it using the new "Proliant Support Pack - 7.60A" Once I installed it, it cleared the problem.

Re: MSA1500 host installation
Usually you will have this issue if you haven't installed the HBA drivers from HP..
So, as Scott mentioned.. use the newest PSP or download the standalone driverpack for your HBA-model on HP support...
