MSA1500 with DSM Manager

I use the MSA1500. I installed the MPIO Basic DSM for Windows MSA1500 Active-Passive Disk Array driver v1.20.
Then I installed the HP MPIO DSM Manager v1.02.00.
Now I see the Snap-In in the Computer Manager but no MSA1500 or Paths are displayed.
Do I use the false drivers?

Thanks

That depends on what firmware is installed on the MSA1500: anything less than V6 requires the basic MPIO, but the description for it says:
""A Path management utility is not provided to manage this product.""

The DSM manager is for the full-featured DSMs.

Re: MSA1500 with DSM Manager

The Firmware is 5.02.
This means "full-featured" are Arrays with Firmware above 6?
I can't update the firmware.
So I can't manage the multi-paths with the firmware 5.02 and with my basic drivers?

Thanks

Re: MSA1500 with DSM Manager

Right.
The basic MPIO is required for Firmware V5 and you don't have path management (that's why it is called basic ;-).

With V5 firmware, the MSA1500 is an Active/Passive controller storage array, so you can't do much path management anyway...
