MSA2012SA expand virtual disk SLOW
Hello,
I need some information:

I have a MSA2012SA (Dual Controler)
Current Storage Controller Code Version J301R09
Current Storage Controller Loader Code Version 15.010
Current Memory Controller FPGA Code Version F300R22
Current Management Controller Code Version W430R47
Current Management Controller Loader Code Version 12.013
Current Expander Controller Code Version 3210
Current CPLD Version 2
1 Array composed of 4 * 1Tb Disk. (RAID5).
I have add a disk of 1Tb and add it to array to arrive at array of 5 Disk...
Expand launch the 08/08/2011... Today:Virtual Disk "DL-DATA" is 37 Percent Done For "Expand".
My question: is it normal or i have a problem?

Plan on it taking a few days if necessary. It will continue functioning. This is not the super-fastest SAN in the world. :)

Insert the new disks and expand the vdisk (as long as you don't hit the maximum) - this will take a lot of time.
