Hi everyone.
I have an MSA 2040 with error code 58 that refers to a disk error, according to the MSA Event Descriptions Reference Guide, a disk that is not in a failed state must be replaced, I cannot find the procedure to replace a disk healthily.
Could you help me please?

SolutionThe procedure to replace a drive that is degraded/predicted to fail would be the same as replacing a faulty disk. You may hot-swap it and let it rebuild.
However, ensure that the disk group is in FTOL status (not degraded/CRIT) and that no other drives are reporting errors in the same disk group.
