MSA2052 - 4 SSD and 8 SAS drives
I got a MSA 2052 with 8 SAS drives 1.8 TB and 4 SSD 800gb, we have a msa 2012i currently working with 3 hosts with VMware 6 so the msa 2052 will substitute the msa2012i, my question is how to setup the msa2052 for best performance since we want to install a new ERP system that includes 1 sql server and 1 application server, i was provided with 2 ssd drives that came with the 2052 and two extras as it was the requeriment from the ERP company to install the systemon SSD drives.

Re: MSA2052 - 4 SSD and 8 SAS drives
I would suggest you to go through the below best practice whitepaper and it will help you to design your solution,
https://www.hpe.com/h20195/V2/Getdocument.aspx?docname=a00015961enw
To be specific, I would suggest to take advantage of "HPE Advanced Data Services (ADS) Software Suite" as The HPE Advanced Data Services (ADS) Software Suite license key comes standard with HPE MSA 2052 and must be redeemed and installed to enable the services.
