MSA2212fc and SNMP

I've installed an MSA2212fc for use here and wanted to get OpenNMS to start keeping track of it by means of SNMP. How come I can SSH into the two controllers, set the SNMP read and write communities and "show snmp-parameters" tells me everything is set, the box will still reply to "public" and "private" as communities. Also after rebooting the management controllers.

What's more scary: it replies to "public" "private" communities even after a restart of the management controllers. Running "show snmp-parameters" still prints the new info I set up... wonderfull.
