MSL6000 not detected by adaptec 29160LP

Hi,

I have connected a msl6030 library with one drive ultrium 460 to a 29160LP controler. But the controler does not detect the library. I have check the cables and terminator and I sure it's ok.

Any idea ?

first, does the unit appear in the Adaptec Bios? (CTLR-A) at boot time (may be ctrl-Q for french keyboard),
if you do not see the device at boot time, try to just connect one drive or just the controller and see if it appear.
try with and without the terminator,
swap the connection cable,
check all connectors for bent pins or loose connections
