Multiparhing
I have MSA2050 and a 4 ESXI hosts connected to storage ( every host connected to both controller in the storage over FC cable direct attach)
But I can view only one path in storage dashboard
How can I configured multi pathing and view the both paths in the storage??

Re: Multiparhing
Hello,
From the storage you should be seeing the host ports as connected and active. You do not configure the multipathing from the storage. In order to configure multipathing it should be done from the host side and depends on the version of ESXi you are using.
You can verify in either SMU or CLI that there are active paths on all the ports for a controller.
Using the CLI:
Host Port Name: Host Port Type: Host Port Status:
A1 FC Up
A2 FC Up
A3 FC Up
A4 FC Disconnected
B1 FC Up
B2 FC Up
B3 FC Up
B4 FC Disconnected
As you can see from the above output the A4 and B4 ports are not active - they are also not currently connected to any hosts. To configure the multipathing once the ports are reporting correctly I then use the host multipathing software.
Cheers,
Shawn
