Need HP Array Config Util for Compaq 4100 on Win 2003
NOW, I can't seem to get any of the GUI HP Array Config Utils to work. The only one that would install under Win 2003 is "HP Proliant Array Configuration Utility for Windows" version 7.20.19.0 and it complains that the hardware is bad (not true) or driver (I think it means Eumulex LightPulse PCI Fibre Channel driver ver 5.5.10.10) is unsupported. I cannot find info on any other/better drivers.
AND what's irratating is that there is 1 thing that seems to work - the HP 'Command Line only' array config utiltiy version 7.31.1.0 seems to work but is REALLY SLOW - several minutes just to show the list of drives.
Is there a GUI somewhere (or fix for HP ACU) that is less than $100 to manage/configure the RAID - i.e. simple, local, add/format drives etc that works under Win 2003?

As far as I know, ACU is sole GUI utility supporting by RA family. Try to install drivers for FC HBA from hp web site

I don't know why HP doesn't offer this one from its archives - would have saved me a HECK of a lot of trouble.

Re: Need HP Array Config Util for Compaq 4100 on Win 2003
You can find the old style ACU software on older Smart Start CD's. I am not sure which SSCD has the last ACU (2.9a), but one of them should.
SS5.5 would have the old ACU software.
Glad you found it otherwise.
