New Host on MSA2324i not Discovered
Hello,
I have added a new Host on my MSA2324i and explicitly mapped a Volume to it. The volume is not appearing in disk management of the Host. I assume this is because, when I look at the Overview of the Hosts, my new Host is sitting at Discovered - No.
What do I need to do to get my new Host discovered? The host is a VM on a Hyper-V server. The Hyper-V server and other VMs are successfully discovered Hosts with volumes on the SAN explicitly mapped to them.
Do I need to install or configure something on my VM Host?
Sorry if this is a very simple question, with a really obvious answer. I just haven't had much experience of working with SANs.
Thanks in advance for any help.
R
