OP2000 G3 FC MPIO

How to set  MPIO's PDORemovePeriod  for server 2008 R2?My P2000 G3 FC connetc to two HBA card, when a port link is down, it takes about 40 seconds to come back normal status(two port work ). Is PDORemovePeriod restrictive?
