Openview Storage Virtual Replicator Snapshot Question

Can I make snapshots of existing volumes, or do I have to create a new volume in a pool and copy all of my data over?

VR cannot create snapshots from native NTFS partitions, but last time I checked, you could import (well, really: convert) an existing NTFS volume into a pool provided that some conditions are met.
