Optional cards to use an MSA20

Hi there, we have two MSA20 units with 8 1TB disk on each one and we want to use them in our office.

Currently where I live, I can only get HP G6 servers with PCI-E slots. According to the documentation a MSA20 can only be used with Smart Array Controllers 6402 and 6404 and these are 64bit/133Mhz PCI-X cards.

Anyone can suggest me an alternative? HP chat seems to be always congested.

Thanks,

The alternative is to buy two new D2600 units, move the disks to the new units (disks from MSA20 are compatible with D2600), and buy Smart Array SAS controllers for G6 servers (Smart Array P212, P411, or P812).

Indeed, but a very expensive solution just to reuse the disks.

Another solution:
buy a PCIe/PCI-X Riser board for G6 server, and Smart Array 6404 or 6402 or 642. This solution can work, but is not supported.
