P2000 G3 FC dual controller firmware upgrade for Microsoft Windows Server 2012 x64

Hi,

This MSA is currently running Controller version T230P03. We want to upgrade it to the latest version. However the document obtained from HP SPOCK, says there are two firmware versions available viz, TS250P003 and TS240P004. Please let me know, which would be the best available option. I am also not able to find the download locations for these firmwares. It would be appreciated, if someone let me know, if this upgrade provides the roll-back in case of failure.

Hi Torsten,

Thanks for the lead. As i said earlier, this is a dual controller MSA. Please let me know, if I do a firmware upgrade of the first controller, will it automatically get loaded to the second controller after power-cycling. Do we need to reboot the MSA after each firmware upgrade?

with partner firmware update enabled or if you use the windows update utility one controller will be updated after the other. no manual reboot or power cycle needed.
