P2000 G3 SAS A/A dual controller - Host being added for each mpio connection

Hardware is p2000 g3 6GB sas, HBA's are h221's in all 4 hosts machines

Active/Active config, dual storage controllers.

3 hosts make up the OLD cluster, and is using 2008r2.

1 hosts (so far) using 2012 r2 to make up new cluster.

The h221's dual sas connectors have one connected to Storage Controller 1 and one connected to  Storage controller 2, use mpio, and all is working properly on the os's.

On the p2000, the 2008 r2 cluster hosts all show as one host, but after adding new (4th) host running 2012 r2, each of the 2 sas connections from the h221 show as individual host.

MPIO is setup, shows 2 p2000 disks plus the p2000 g3 multi-path disk device (same behavior as 2008 r2 devices so this is as expected), and only one drive being displayed in disk management as expected as well.  Also pulling either sas cable doesn't cause disconected so MPIO is working and is active/active.

The only real difference is that the older servers are hp (dl's of varios gens), the new one is DELL, but all 4 are using same genuine HP H221 dual sas HBA's.

So it looks like it is working properly, yet why are 2 separate hosts being displayed in the p2000 Management Web for new server, yet only 1 being displayed for other 3 older server A/A hosts?
