P2000 G3 SAS Inband MC reset

Is it possible to do an indband reset of both MC in a P2000 G3 SAS storage ?

It has happened to me  that sometimes after an abrupt  power loss, the MC are left kinda in a hang state.

I can't eveng ping them. The storage works ok thru the SAS connnectros though.

Sometimes I can get away restaring both MC thru the USB cable with CLI : restart MC both.

But in some cases I don't have the USB cable in remote locations.

So, is there a way to access CLI mode inbound (thru the SAS cables) or at least restart the MC?

I've found a couple of windows SAS utilites with the MSA Discovery Tool, ( DUMPIDA.EXE, dumpsas.exe , IDCNTRL.EXE ) but can't find a wat to do inband CLI or restart MC.

Any information will be appreciated.

No idea, but can you connect to one of them per telnet/ssh?

The interface is very much the same than the USB CLI.

No, no telnet, no http, no connectivity at all. No ping reply even.

After restarting both MC it fixes. it happens after power loss sometimes.

next question must be: current firmware installed?

Actually it's not the latest.

I've upgrated it up to Bundle TS250R023 5 Apr 2013 ( comes with Management Controller Code Version L250R023-01 )

The latest right now is TS250P002 12 Jul 2013 (Management Controller Code     L250R026-01)

I'm sticking with the R version, as I suppose those are release, and the P version are kind of Prerelease version. At least that's what I thought. Is that so ?
